One can also open a demo account with w w w . T h i n k O r S w i m . c o m (remove spaces) and start trading US Stocks/Futures/Options from Desktop Client with realtime streaming.

I wonder why Indian brokers do not provide any demo account. SEBI should probably make that mandatory to have a demo account service for all brokers.

Is it possible to practice intraday trading at leisure or only during market hours?

Tradesim can be practised at any time without adhering to trade timings.

No its like a real account... and you can trade after/before hours futures but only during normal business hours. The feed is delayed by 2-5mins I guess otherwise everything is same.

Its just behaving like real market.

I made about $10,000 and it took back those $10,000 and another $5,000 from my a/c.

Anybody tried it? Please share your experience.

It is real indeed, I use it these days to get a live feed of /DX and used couple of times to trade for my friend on his terminal. but its fantastic tool for mock trading with everything real except cash

My True confessions about Tradingsim practice.

I have blown out my first a/c. I made about $80,000/- in the first a/c and it went down continuously thereafter and finally blown out.

The following are the reasons for blown out.

1. Changed strategy frequently especially after entering trade.
2. Entered with full capacity that includes complete leverage.
3. Not exited loosing trades expecting it would reverse.

Again, Tradingsim is kind enough to allot me another $50,000 to continue my practice.

In the second spell I successfully doubled my a/c.

The following are implemented though I feel somemore strict implementation is required.

1. Enter the trade with 100 lot at the opening either long or short. (There is no hard and fast rule here).

2. If the initial trade becomes successful after 2 bars (I used 15 min TF), I scaled in at every favourable move. Here I used my complete leverage.

3. If the initial trade becomes looser after 2 bars, I take a contrarian view and initiate my trade against my initial trade. If it succeeds I again scale in using my leverage completely or as per the trade requirement.

4. Exited Trade as and when there is descent profit or at minimum loss.

Notes : There were occasions, when i scaled in the trade became looser either because of my aggressive scaling in or reversal of price. I guarded carefully against those situations closed the trade on immediate danger signs. If confident of reversing the trades, I did it without hesitation. Even if I have to reverse the trades two or three times within a single session I did it even if it is at a loss. Ultimately, it paid me.

But the link given below their message is not clicking. I have written to them, but they have sent the same message where again the link is not working. Did you activate the account same way and did you face any problem?

I had not faced any problem like that. Anyway, try the following.

1. Copy and paste the link in the brower and enter. It should work.
2. Try two or three times.
3. If not successful, register again with another email a/c.
