daily back tested figures on 2652 theory of day trading

thank you ramendra.

but can you please tell, where did you get these prices?, todays low was 4838 on opening and after 15 minutes it was 4850.25.

also are you using 29 as number for add substract. it will be best if you explain how you arrived on above figures.
first of all the calculations are based on high lows of nifty futures not spot.
here it is for you and all.

date 22 feb 2010 nifty futures day high - 4917 day low - 4849
or pdr = 4917 - 4849 = 68 points.

now

factor = 68 * 0.4333 = 29.46 points.

now

date 23 feb 2010 nifty futures high (9:20 am)- 4854 and low(9:20 am) - 4830

or open. range = 4854 -4830 = 24 points < 29.46 points.

then buy price = low (9:20 am) + factor

buy price = 4830 + 29.46 = 4859.46 points

target price = 4859.46 * 1.005 % = 4883.80 points

feel free to reply.

MaxBombay refering for chart High and Low and ramendra.singh giving High Low shown on Market Depth.

So my question is which prices should we consider?

@ramendra.singh

Yes High / Low taken at 9.20 am but question is Which we should consider, If you see on your chart the High and Low is 4850.25 and 4838 but if you see at Market Depth its 4854 and 4830. So which should we take into account?

a small doubt...the buy level was trigerred before 9.20 ..so do we take the signal..and one more thing...
if the sell level is reached before sl level is reached do we book loss and reverse..

E.g buy level is at 4866....and sl is at say 4818 and the sell level is at 4850...
Now say we go long...but instead the markets goes to level 4850..what do we do..wait for sl or go short.

:confused:
