intraday trading in BSE

hi...

recently, i approached icici bank 4 opening my trading account... dat time they told me that intraday trading is not possible in BSE and that i had to trade with NSE only....

is it the case with all other brokers or with icici alone?
somebody plzzzzz throw me light to this....

Of-course you can trade intraday in BSE as well as NSE with other brokers. May be the sales person is not well informed or ICICI has this weird rule.

However, do note that some stocks cannot be traded in intraday for regulatory reasons on BSE as well a NSE. These are from BSE's T segment(and mat be S segment also) and equivalent to NSE's BE series. Google for more info on this.

I think IndiaBulls also has/had a restriction of NSE only! Can anyone verify this?
