Pride's Intra-Day Strategy [Profit Everyday]

before I posted this strategy on this board, I did not have very rigid rules. Depending on market conditions, sometimes I used to take long positions even when 30min was overbought.
You can see if this would result in better trades by backtesting a bit. I won't mind changing this rule as even I sometimes traded against it.

But one thing that I never ever did, was buy when 5min stoch was overbought and vice versa.

If backtesting results are profitable, we can modify the rule to just use the 30min stoch to see direction of trend only, regardless of OB/OS condition and consider OB/OS only for 5min stoch.

Yes,thats how we enter. EMA crossovers are our triggers.


We exit on stoch crossovers and not on EMA crossovers.

I have noticed one thing..

If even you get a short or buy signal in 5 min chart and if the 30 min stoch is in a very close situation like this...

do not take a trade as it is highly risky...

I would be extremely thankful if someone takes the pain to resolve this querry of mine.

On 25th June, at 1:05, a short signal was triggered, however this trade happened to be the first loss making trade and at 1:15 bar, the trade was over. This was marked trade 2 in the earlier posts.

Now at 1:30 pm, 30 min stoch turned bullish so till 2 pm, we were to look for long trades. At 1:35 pm, 5 min stoch turned bullish and at 1:40 pm, EMA crossover took place indicating long signal.

However this trade wasnt there in earlier posts. Though fortunately, at 1:50 pm, the stoch crossed back and would have caused a loss.

Can someone plzzz see and clarify this one abt the events of that day.
