Hi ankit,
Wasn't the 30 min stoch in overbrought.
Yes..thats my question....I think it worked out my way..but is not according to the system.
Wrong entry i guess

No buddy. You are forgetting EMA crossover. When you entered, EMAs were wide and had crossed long back. Certainly no entry according to the system
Let Pride confirm this for us.
Hello All

Is it like we enter a trade only on a fresh EMA crossover ? or is it like if the EMA crossed sometime back but at that time 5 min stoch wasnt bullish and now that 5 min stoch has turned bullish so we can enter now also ??

For ex lets say at 12:05, 30 min stoch is bullish, 5 min stoch is bearish & fast EMA has crossed over.

At 12:20, 5 min stoch turns bullish and the fast EMA is still above from the earlier crossover at 12:05.

So will this mean a valid entry ?

Or will it be that the EMA crosses back and then crosses above again, then only we will enter ?

I think we shud not check 30 min stochastics OB/OS condition we will check only the direction of 30 min and overbought/oversold condition for 5 min stochastic

Pride will clear the doubt

the series of actions for initiating a long trade should be in this order:

1. Confirm whether 30min stoch is bullish.

2. Confirm that 5min stoch is bullish.

3. Wait for bullish crossover in EMA and enter when candle closes to confirm EMA crossover.

4. Exit when 5min stoch shows bearish crossover.

Do the opposite for going short.
Do we exit even when EMA crosses back or is it that exit happens only on 5 min stoch crossover to bearish ?

I think only when ema crosses back and then crosses above again......
