I have written a blog on tradetiger settings for Pride's strategy here...

Dear GANSAL,

Thank you very much for showing the Trade Tiger settings on Blogspot.

My only doubt is Stoch settings, you have shown Avg Period as 3, whereas in my opinion in should have been 4.

Mr. Pride in his first Entry Strategy post mentioned Stochastic Setting as 8,3,4 for his system and not 8,4,3. I think the last figure of 3 is for Avg Period.

Could you please clarify and reconfirm.

saint sir is in a separate league altogether...he is a man of knowledge...i am just a man with a system :p

I keep taking profits out of my account so capital nearly remains the same, and as this system has already given me good profits, I am willing to go for higher risk, and use about 75-80% of my capital on each trade. Though I would advise others to trade using MM which they consider prudent.
Hi,

Pride first of all Thank you for being very humble and honest and showing a very genuine approach towards the system. I read your thread and i must say Very few people have the courage and goodness in them to come out openly. It shows a clean approach to ones right attitude. Yes I respect Saint because such people are very rare to be found and i add you also in this list of mine.

Once again Thank you from my heart for providing valuable advice and binging a system you worked so hard.

Hats off to you:clapping::thumb:

A very warm regards to you pride

Thanks for the kind words...

however, on reading my quoted post again, I think that I should clarify that I did not RISK 75-80% of my account. Just the position size was 75-80% of my account.

I think the most important thing is capital preservation. You need to have a solid MM plan before you decide to make your first trade. Right now I use a fixed fractional approach. The Kelly formula is quite useful in this regard.

PS. Before someone asks whether this system is still profitable, let me ask you a question...
Every morning we drive to work...do we cruise at the same speed throughout the journey?
We don't. Our speed depends on the time of the day, amount of traffic, the kind of locality we are passing through, our mood, etc...there are many variables...
Similarly, how can we expect a system to perform the same in varying market conditions? Just as we change our speed while driving, things need to be tweaked in our system as well...

and once in a while, we upgrade to bigger, better cars as well :)

Hi

The questions you show here and try to answer by your self are not the real questions, as they come from you !

If we use a system, which very much belongs to indicators which are very much dependable on volatility and other indicators, we always have to wait, what this indicators are going to tell us. Boring, don't you think so ?

Any other ideas on that ? Sorry to provoke with such questions as you are the leader in the thread.

By the way : I know the quality of the thread.
