Intra-Day trading in Indian Market..

#1
Hi,

I am Shaju, was doing Investments in MF and Stocks in Indian Market for 2 years...
Now would like to start/learn Intra-day trading in Stocks... So pls help me to get started...

Currently I am using ICICI for Intra-day trading... but there is no proper charts/tools provided by ICICI to make correct decisions...

1) So is there any other software which will help to provide live data streaming intra-day charts (candlestick etc), with buy/sell signals..? I did check on the Software Forum, but they all dont look to be for Indian Market..

2) Please guide me if there is already a thread on it...

Also today i tried out Intraday trading with "State Bank of India" - STABAN.
I found the Brokerage + Tax charged by ICICI is on a very high side...

Eg... Lets say if the profit is Rs 300, then the brokerage + tax is Rs 175. hence the net profit is Rs 125 only...

Please advise how you people are doing it... with examples...

like...
I am using <xxx> as the broker for day trading in Indian market using the software <xxx> with the streaming quotes from <xxx> at a monthly cost of <xxx>.

Cheers, Shaju

At every hundred rupee fall you add SBI scrip .It is good.

I heard ICICI charges are too HIGH.Better shift from ICICI direct.Regarding your choice there is a dedicated thread " confused sharekhan or ...............",please refer it.

Hi shaju,

For intraday open the a/c at RELIANCEMONEY. Brokerage is very cheap but u have to compromise little bit with quality and service.
