When a call is made,it would be great to know why........How did you come to 700 for Hindalco(that's like more than 300% in 6mths),what abt this stk makes you want to get in,...........is it some news related reason?

You are absolutely right Avinash,

Neerav,
I believe, in Traderji, we are participating to make informed decisions.. not to follow some wild tips.

I am not doubting your intentions here. But it is always best to follow up with some sound analysis or news.

Globally Metals are still softening. We are interested in HINDALCO but would like to see proof of your reasoning

There is no need to be agressive about anybody. We are not here to fight but make money based on sound investing. right? .. Hope you take it in the right spirit.

Thanks
Shankar

Nice charts buddy,

Which software are you using?

Any idea how to get Buy/Sell calls on each chart like that on Amibroker?

BTW, I am not into Intraday trading.. I only follow EOD data as of now..

Out of curiousity, there were so many Buy/Sell calls in the chart.. Do you trade all of them? or how do you decide to act on which call?

Hi Ramakrishnaih and Dominic

The s/w used is Amibroker. Its available at www.amibroker.com
The support and resistance tools afls are available at www.tradingbasis.com

I use a simple trading system. Crossover of 3ema and 5ema. It may not suit others. I am quite happy with this sytem.

With help of karthik I learnt the coding to superimpose the crossovers on the support and resistance afl which is what you see in the chart.

Dear neerav

After many posts by many members and some excellent examples from Tanewbie I hope the point is clear to you. This forum is full of seekers and sharers. The maturity level of the traders here is much more than other mundane forums you find on the net. So they would really like to know the reasons for a call and they abhor Tips.

By the way one need not reside in Dalal street to know the sentiments of the market. In this information age it is easy to know everything about Indian markets even from the remote corner of the globe. All it takes is to be a Indian and the zeal to know the things.

In fact we have excellent contributors to the forum from Kuwait like Tanewbie, Siva and pagenotfound.

mmm.. hey.. not bad Guys.. siva, pagefound and Tanewbie, Kuwait may wins the prize for most contributors from one place ..

regards

Karthik
