A warm Welcome to the Forum,as the discussion is on Daytrading hence BTST or To-morrow is irrelevant here.

u can earn 1000 average, double ur quantity and then it will be 2000, and when time comes to loose 2000 at 1st attempt and then 4000 if u make quantity double, so always play safe and avoid risky trade . .

y2j826,

Why take the pain of this AP ,shift to Futures. After that ;when a position with multiple contracts starts going against you it becomes diificult Psychologically to cope up.Try it once then this simple Arithmetic thing will be better understood then.

y2j826,

It was never my intention to hurt your feelings,i just meant that as by only doubling or tribling the qty the Profit amount seems more, the loss amount will also be more.If we are working with 200 shares of SBI in intraday than 2000 even a Rs 5.00 down will be having a more magnified effect on the psyche in case of 2000 than 200.
Like you ,many of us has lost in this recent debacle, did you make a Solid EXIT plan,no matter what ;in future we will stick to our exit plan.
Changing the time frame to intraday may not be a good solution in all cases.
Apart from intraday we can also have a Swing trading, along with intraday,i personally prefer Swing also becoz for my style of intraday (& the high exposure provided for intraday)the scrips for Swing work as Margin for intraday.Hence a suitable Stop & Exit has to be in place.Swithching to Only intraday is not the full solution.
Plz be assured that my intention is just to share my view as a co-worker.

Asish

one is never satisfied with what they get so they push themselves down the hole...and the process repeats itself...u either learn or u never do!
markets are like women so u can never be so sure...
and ya risk is a part of life...one has to learn to cope with it in their own possible way!
