Default Sell and Buy in intra-Day trading

My question goes with no logic, but still wanted to ask.

I see this speculation that these days, shares are priced good(in green) in morning and look red in evening.

Is there way that I can place sell order(for share i don't posses in morning) and buy the same share in evening(assumed at lower price).

Need answer in following Questions(for understanding better)
1. Is it possible to Sell share which i don't posses in Day/Margin trading?
2. If Yes, What is my oblication, If I am not able to buy the share in evening?

If it sounds so silly, ignore me, asking out of curiosity.

vasan

I dont think any online firms are giving the facilities to sell the stock in cash without having in demat account. But so many offline brokers are giving this facility after you become the HNI or Valuable customer.

The strategy you are thinking is not a sustainable one.

You can sell the stock in case without having in demat account in online trade. The worst case scenario it can go for auction is Lower circuit. Otherwise they square off automatically at 3:10.

However this is not recommended because u cannot carry forward ur position unlike futures..

Thanks rajesh, Yes, I found HDFC sec it is possible as you told only. Thanks once again.

Some thing strike me at this point, can anybody suggest, what is risk i am taking here

I have a script(say Bharati) which i bought some where in nov at price of 850
Current market price is 910.

Suppose, I day/margin Trade this share by sale of 10 share(i hold it) for 930
And At end of day, IF the market fall(as this week), i can buy back(square off) at 910 at 2.30 or 3.00PM

IF market price goes up, I will convert this to delivery order, in that case, I only loose on profit booking

Is'nt this a safe way to play in day trade, Or did i get any concept wrong in concept itself?

Advice for you . .

Never sell anything in intra, cuz if stocks move up it can move like a rocket, so u can loose lot of money by shorting it

Or if u even wants to short then play with stoplooss
