Sanjay, I had sent you a pm for the info you rerquested but you didn't reply, I hope you got the pm.

Yes the system is good, but it is yet to be optimised a little, there is no need to change the rules unless I run into any big obstacle.

Optimisation dosen't dramatically improve the system, it may show slight improvement in the results but the main thing is the rules.

Could you tell me the returns you have got so far from the system as you have gone live (paper traded)

The problem with backtested rsults is that the markets are random, they are not mean reverting, hence it could be simply a coincidence that why I have to backtest several years from Nifty, sensex, even foreign equity markets. This will give the true potential, but I am stuck coz i cant get the data.

sanyamdaley is right NSE does sell intraday data on CD's but two months of data costs 5000 rupees!

Lastly it is not my system, credit MUST go to the developer.

Sorry buddy was late in my reply, have done that now.

Yes sir, I agree on that, Don't fix it if it ain't broken!

We need to add a lot of things like defined rules for exit, stop, position sizing, etc. to call it a system, what we have currently is only entery criteria. I hope we continue working on it to take it further from here.

btw Today we got a false sell signal on the system :D

I am stuck coz i cant get the data.
Same here!

Cross over systems have been around for a while, as i was responding to your post I named it "Marcus's System". Anyway the name sounds kind of nice so why not continue calling it the same, I am sure your friend won't mind :)
