manshi feed comodity also if u use iifl . as iifl also give mcx feed. it is cheapest. but for simplicity use mcx direct, have a trial. its userfriendly and simple. didnt chek minutely for delay but it is smooth application,as i set up(mcx) it for one of my friend.

I have used following data sources for mcx.

ISTOCK Systems.

MDP

MANSHI RT

PHALCON

CHARTGURU

All are having some pros & cons. Such as...

(a) I stocks System is better for the people who needs to keep data for longer time frame for exploring /Scanning or visual analysis. There are no chances of data corruption, thus no need to backfill/edit delete data like other data vendors. But the data is in 5 min format and lags 10 seconds. Now main problem is with them that its being updated in offline mode where as their nse tick data is getting updated online. So u can't update both the data simultaneously in a single machine.

(b) MDP : data updation is zero delay ...faster than the odin. But I have experienced with peculiar type of problem, for automated systems it keeps changeing its value every now and then and thus sometimes I have lost money becoz signals disappears after entering a trade. MDP support has told me it is becoz of antivirus, but I am not comfortable with them may be its my own problem.

(c) Phalcon : Data updation is fantastic, but it uses their own software hence cannot be useful for the people habituated with Ami or Meta.

(d) Chartguru : data is 10 seconds delayed.

(e) Manshi : Pricewise its the best one. In Rs. 800/- pm for MCX and fno u can't imagine data. Its having some drawbacks, but considering the price I would suggest for Manshi.

Hi Dev,
its been a really long time since we last talked...!

I have personally used MDP but their data correction in between sessions has always been an irritant for me also...! Speed is definitely good but not comparable with global data feed which scores on data quality also...!

But for MCX, i am considering Manshi as they claim to have 1 min data for last 60 days backfill which is good for me as i wont be trading mcx much anyway. Their offer at 800 rs is really surprising low and can act as my backup for my gdfl data.

How is the data speed and accuracy. How much delay can i expect...?

I wont be using manshi to extract data from odin. RGK odin has a tendency to break down at the worst moment and i am fed up with them. Otherwise, data from odin to AB is really good...!

I'll be using the manshi MCX direct which is sourced from their online server. Need feed back on that...!
