need updated stock prices in excel sheet

guyz i just want 1 sec upadted price and volumes of stock prices in exchel sheet.......plz help... no charts or nothng else i want..just want price and volume...

1 second is not practical. When excel loads data from web it hangs
that time. 1 second means it will hang all the time.

Yes 10 or 15 cecond is practical.

Now your present requirement is for indian markets or NYSE/NASDAQ?

hey vijay wow yaar....u remember my past request also..... though i have forgotten abut it a bit..hehehe.. thnkss..... its realy nice on ur part.... first of all eod for dow/nasdaq i have not get that.... actualy i was just looking for dowjones and nasdaq index eod and latest every day ..just like bhavcopy... whereas peoples here do helped me...but they were having us stocks data and that too historical

now on my current requirement ...i m looking for indian stocks only.... for exchel sheet i mean...

few days back..i got data in google spreadsheet ...from here trader ji... thats very simple and safe to use...main isuue is its a bit slow...it updates on every 1 min...
so just wana know is ur yahoo sheet is safe na ?

I think you are new in excel, you dont know power of mecro.

Dekho Mecro koi bhoot nahi hai jo itanaa darte ho. Vo to aik
gulaam hai ise banaane waleka.
Agar koi ye gulaam ko aisa hukam kare ki computer ki sab file uda do
to vo uda dega. Agar use kaha jaye yahoo data laa ke do to vo laayega.
Han virus ke tor par is ka use ho sakata hai. Lekin virus banaane walon ke liye
excel out of date hai. un ke paas excel se behtar technology hai.

Is forum me muze nahi lagata koi aisa ho jo galat iraade se excel file upload kare.

One thing more.
If you are using vista or win7 then dont use this. It will not work.
When I was using this at that time I was using XP.I was able to get real time
data by log in email ID using IE browser, but now in vists, some thing is missing, I am not able to ger RT Data, I get 15 M late data.

hi amit,

you can get the RT data feed from data vendors like Viratech, e-signal etc.
I did some software on the same, but it is not easy to configure it on a machine independantly. (bcz i did it for myself, so it is not at all user-friendly)
