The National Stock Exchange on Tuesday started a new facility to provide stock updates on mobile phones. This NSE hopes will help it reach out to more customers.

"For the first time in India, getting market data on a mobile will no longer be the preserve of a privileged few.

From September 14, the NSE will start providing market data to anyone who registers their mobile number on the NSE website," the exchange said in statement on Tuesday.

Through this new facility, NSE data can be received by anyone with a mobile phone in the country, which has a subscriber base of nearly 600 million users, compared to just 9 million Internet connections.

the download option after registration of mobile is not working now...:mad:

hi all,
yesterday i downloaded the NSE mobile application and installed the software in my mobile. However when i tried to start the application it gave me an error - "an internal application error occured: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError". This morning during market hours I again tried only to receive the same error. Has anybody else tried this application (successfully) ? :confused:

try it on some other mobiles ur handset might not be compitable with the software, a few days ago i tried to install the sbi freedom net banking on my mobile & it showed the same error, while i could install it on my friends mobile...... so better 2 try it on some other mobile sets...

go to the nse website and look for NSE Mobile registration (New) in the Key links section on the top right of the page. Complete the registration first.

My Mobile number already registered.I already get link but not downloaded.After that link expired......saying your number already registered.Now again putting mobile number on site.....it says ..already registered...

Nse messed up
