Download EOD & Historical Data From Here ....

Hi Dheeraj,
Thanks for your Reply. I am also aware of Those TWO ***** Groups ( Bse-nse2005 & nse_data ), The EOD data in "Bse-nse2005" is Good ... But the Story of "Historical Data CD" is complete Nonsense ... Because that CD contains a 62.2 MB Zip File ( 8 Folders ), in which they provide the entire data of 2005 (which is also available in their group), Some Intraday data NSE & BSE of 2004 & some very un-organized data of Bse & Nse of 2003 & 2004 ( which is Not useable, Because data is in a interval of 2-3 months, I mean after may,2003 you will find data of July/August,2003 ... The data in-between them is Missing ) ... So, That Historical data is Of No Use ... Its Totally Hypocrisy. On the other Hand, The "nse_data" Group Provides Historical data of NSE ONLY from 2003 & Its Good & Continuous ... But their EOD Data Service is WORST ... Because They Don't have any specific time for Uploading the EOD Data, Sometimes The Upload Data on the Next Day or the day after tomorrow ... So, You can't do TA using their data ... Whereas 'Bse-nse2005" gives data between 6.30-7.00 Pm Every Day.

But, The New Group, ( "mypaisa" ) I have Joined Last Month is Much Better from those TWO Groups ... Because they not only Provide EOD Data within 6.00-6.30 PM ... But also provide a Thorough "EOD Market Report" of NSE & BSE & Help me to track all market activities at a Glance.

Anyway, everybody have their Own choice ... and They can join any group they want (Although "mypaisa" has restricted membership) ... Its Only My Personal Experience after using all the THREE Groups for several months.

Hope this will Help you to Choose the Right group for you.

Thanks for your Honest Review of All the Three EOD Data Providing ***** Groups. But I Think "mypaisa" ( http://in.groups.*****.com/group/mypaisa ) is Still BEST of Them ... I found it very HelpFul. Hope It will help many of Us Too.

very well done!!!!! i was able to download and import the bhavcopy in metastock format....i must congratulate & thank you for providing this excellent service.

sorry to bother you so much but i still i have one query, i wish to populate my historical database, is there any link from where i can download the entire data(2003 to 2005) instead of downloading it for each day individually?
something like what you have developed for each scrip(from x date to y date) so that we can download data in one go, can that be done for bhavcopies also?
I shall be very extremly greatful if you could provide me with such a link so that i can build my historical database in one go and then update it regularly. Please help me solve my problem.

Hi Dheeraj
I am pleased I could be of some help to you.

Regarding your query of downloading the entire database of bhav files
in metatsock format in one go, I guess it may unnecessary cause heavy load
on the server where the site is hosted (it is a free host with maximum monthly bandwidth limit).

I found this a Group called "mypaisa" ( http://in.groups.*****.com/group/mypaisa ) in ***** Groups! ... that provide EOD Data for BSE, NSE & Derivatives at FREE of Cost. They also Provide Historical Data ... For BSE form 1984, NSE from 1994 & Derivatives from 2000. Please go there & have a Look ... I found this Group very helpful. I think this will help you too.

You can get the EOD BSE Data form the ***** Group "mypaisa" ( http://in.groups.*****.com/group/mypaisa ). Just go there & Sign Up. Its FREE.
