Maybe you can post the link for others. Also the forum at http://forum.hypertrader.ws/showthread.php?t=128 contains info and discussion about this program. I had stopped using (smart downloader) this quite some time ago, so I deleted it form my pc.

In smartdownloader thread ask for all threads to be shown.Then both ***** and msn versions are available for download. Neal My question is how do I download consolidated BSE ***** data that is name and symbol.Adding each symbol would be a mamooth task for over 1000 companies

Go to http://in.finance.*****.com/q?s=@^bse500&f=snlcvi for the symbol codes for all the BSE 500 stocks.
You will have to add them in one by one. I do not know if there is a shortcut to this.
