Real Time quotes from ***** to Amibroker

Hello all,

With the help of Cool Tetra i have made a new sheet for downloading realtime data from ***** to amibroker. Basic concepts are same as has been used by Cool Intra in his sheet CoolRC. Following changes have been made in the sheet.

1. Time stamp problem has been modified so as to use Our own Machine time.
2. I have used quote.********** as url and it downloads data for 69 scripts in one go. This reduces the of no. times net is approached.

I downloaded the file but unable to understand how to use it.
Please give us a help file explaining how to set up amibroker and how to use this software.

Hi all,

I did not post anything as i had told that the basic principal i was using was the same as it was in CoolRC by Cool Tetra. In the sheet in columan A put is the ***** codes for which any one wants to download data. In column B put in the Codes which you want to have data in Amibroker, I had been using NSE Codes here.
In in top green column where D:\5MIN is written please substitute with your database(Ami) directory.

Use Idclose.format file that was provided by Cool Tetra along with CoolRC as format file by copying the same in Format directory of amibroker.

If Starting the Excel sheet after market has opened press Start button otherwise Press autostart button.

To stop the excel sheet press stop button

If due to connectivity error alert message appears, check the connectivity and restart.

I am very busy as such am not able to draft out proper instructions at this time
will do so if time permits in coming weeks

I am aslo enclosing format file for convenience'

dear
i was not been able to inport excel data to ami broker after copying coolter id close formate to ami formate folder. any thing i am missing , pl advice with file names.

i donna why its not working at all on windows vista + amibroker+crappy excel 2007. any suggestions? thx
