I want to build continuous contracts(nearmonth) for stock futures for Esignal symbols, using Amibroker for intraday charting. Could senior members please guide how to do this.

You can only do it inside esignal. continous data cannot be taken out to external applications. check with in your application if it can be created. within esignal the symbol is for nifty near month is "NIFTY 1!-NSF" ( with out the quotes). Thanks for the reply. To my knowledge there is no stable way of doing it in Amibroker. Amibroker has merge symbols function which you can use, but Esignal overwrites the data. Same problem when you manually update data. You can somewhat solve this problem by setting the No. of bars in Amibroker Database settings to a minimum, but this also works in some cases only. |
