ESignal subscription now costs around 5350 a month.. 10 times costlier than the suggested truedataindia..
As swagat has mentioned what is the guarantee of data feed continuity if th e source is ***** ? esignal seems to be good , but for the disruption on important day like today.

You can also ask them for data only package ($100). I can not even think of charting without tick data (and thus eSignal). Never knew the value of constant tick charts until I started including ask/bid pressure, pyrapoints etc. The minute charts can hide so much - tests of swing highs/lows, flags, etc - I seriously doubt I will ever go back to trading minute charts. I started this thread to gauge if we have enough users who can approach eSignal for earlier restoration of data feed during breakdown periods. Not to criticise eSignal. This was only second disruption in last one year (365daysx24hours). Even much derided systems (laughed at even in this forum) like Woodies CCI work with correct and fast tick data - although i do not trade it. Absolutely correct and fast data is a must for profitable day trading, especially in trading of leveraged instruments. Woodies has evolved a lot in last 2 years and is now able to catch fast swings. But is a disaster with even a 20 second delayed data (read PIB convertors) Last edited by sudhir gupta; 27th July 2007 at 04:40 PM. |

So my earlier decision of subscribing esig (after my Intraday System gets ready) stands.
What is this bid/ask,pressure & pyrapoints in esig, kindly elaborate for uninitiated like me to understand & the extra cost for it.If possible with a screen shot. |

(it is not bid/ask,pressure but 'bid/ask pressure') Attached chart shows very simple bid/sell volume bars, pyrapoint (when price meets the vertical line in each box, expect change in trend )and a light pink line encompassing and better than all predictive powers of Neuroshell daytrader). Cant agree more with Sudhir. btw they never seem to reply for data only package, though IMHO if u can pay 100 bucks, pay 25 bucks and enjoy their charting package with alerts, free tools et al too.

Now i got your point ,really good, does this vertical line changes in RT ,what i mean is it static at any point of time.
Now i understand why you said 3 ticks in RPL was sufficient to form an opinion. Then this must be helping you a lot, your valued opinion i seek. |
