Query regarding NSE Bhavcopy

#1
Hi,

I would like to know whether it is possible to get the NSE Bhavcopy for a specified period, say from 1.Dec.2006 to till date. I'm able to download one day's bhavcopy at a time. Is there any way to achieve it?

Although the 'EOD downloaders' does the job, I want the bhavcopies to be used in my EOD bhavcopy convertor AFL, without using those 'EOD downloaders'.

Thanks,
Praveen.

Use Batch download function of your download manager:
My download manager Flashget states:
"Add batch download Use Add batch download if there are a lot of files to download and they have a pattern in their names. For example; file01.zip to file10.zip. FlashGet now supports alphabetical ordering, i.e. filea.zip to filez.zip
If you want download http://www.sitename.com/file01.zip to file10.zip
URL: http://www.sitename.com/file(*).zip
From 1 to 10, WildChar is 2."
This will allow monthly Bhavcopies download
e.g. http://www.nseindia.com/content/historical/EQUITIES/2007/JAN/cm(*)JAN2007bhav.csv will download all January 2007 Bhav copies. Holidays will fail.
Hope this helps.

Hi,

Thanks for this useful information. I will checkout this feature.
--I'm using Firefox. Is there any way I can achieve this with Firefox download manager?
--Can I use Flashget with firefox?

Thanks,
Praveen.

Flashget integrates best with IE. But I use Opera and Flashget does integrate O.K. with it. I cannot say about Firefox. However you can use Flashget (freeware) as a standalone download manager.
Hope this helps.
