SBI Q4 net up 22% at Rs 1064.88 crore
Source: IRIS (20 May 2005) State Bank of India`s audited results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2005 is as follows: The Bank has posted 22 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 1064.88 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 872.46 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income has increased to Rs 10338.16 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 from Rs 9721.37 crore in Q4-04. The Bank has posted 17 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 4304.52 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 3681 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004. Total income has increased to Rs 39547.91 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 from Rs 38072.93 crore in FY-04. The group has posted 1.21 per cent decline in consolidated net profit (after minority interest) of Rs 5463.93 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 5531.10 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004. Total income has increased to Rs 54535.70 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 from Rs 52484.16 crore in FY-04. The Central Board has declared a dividend of Rs 12.50 per share for the year ended March 31, 2005 |
