google trouble

Does anyone know if the google server is down, doesn't seem to be loading for me all i get is a small g icon on the top left corner of my screen, the server may be temporarily unoperational or i may be infected with a virus.

All in all probability, it is a virus. Have you gone through my recent thread Help Required? There I had expressed a similar problem with yahoo. I could not read my emails nor could I access yahoo groups. Still continuing with the same problem. My computer guy is also equally clueless. He says, I will have to reformat my hard disk. I am awaiting his arrival.
Check it out and post the result here. It will be helpful for many.

By the way, google server is working fine. I have just checked it.

Thank you for your reply well it seems to be working now I scanned my system with a free online virus scanner http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en...ools/housecall

I found it much better than the software antivirus programs like norton and Mcafee, hope your problem is resolved.

try google.ca for time being

I have same prb of icon on top left
But google.ca is working for me.

Don't know about the disadvantages,but this site can serve well when ur browser is finding it difficult to go to a certain site,viz. google.co.in ,just go to the site and type the web address in the given area and u r done.

Google has several servers.... and according to my knowledge.... any server may be down but it just cant happen with GOOGLE even if they are updating they don't let their servers go slow... as they have a lot of other backup servers

and they are the best and the fastest

I love GOOGLE a lot.....

SO i suggest please clear all cookies and temp files and restart the browser to get it fine or may be some spyware/adware... please remove them as they might spoil the data on ur PC also...
