Why Sensex 30 is not traded in Derivatives Market...

Hi everyone, can someone explain to me with proper reason that why Sensex 30 is not traded in Futures and Options as Nifty 50.
Is their some specific reason, was it traded previously, if yes then why stopped, please reply with proper reasons, thank you for your time.

Can someone explain why it is not that famous, I mean Nifty is covered a lot more on mainstream media.
Are there lesser volumes in Bse contracts or some other reason.
