In Jan 2010 and Mar 2010 Wipro made a high around 450. If Nifty is also to zoom up from this point (now that it has crossed 5200 and has a lot of bullish enthusiasm), then it is quite possible that Wipro will again see 450 in the short term.

Apart from being an IT company, it has other interests so on the whole, one can hold on to its shares for very long term imho. But I think underlying currents may be -ve because mr. premji will have to offload his stake to comply with 25% public float requirement. Plus the general global environment still raises nagging doubts about the sustainability of this recovery.
