Trading Hours

How much hours do you trade as a Day Trader? I can focus for nearly 3hrs to run a scanner, check the stocks and trade them. I continuosly watch the trade as it goes by. But at some point i feel i'm weared focusing too much and should get a break. I think i shouldn't continuosly watch the screen. Once i entered the trade, put stops and target and set alerts for that stock, get out of the screen so i can take breaks inbetween to come and trade again later in the day. So guys please suggest me your thoughts and experience.

One option is to have a timer and look at your work every n minute. Sometimes you will have to watch continously but most of the time i can take a few mins break after looking.

I give an hour in opening and 10mins around 3pm. My strategy permits me this.
