Hi All,
Starting a new thread for monitoring nifty50 stocks with regards to Tom De Mark sequential system. Active participation by TJ members is requested so as to make this initiative meaningful.
Members may post charts of stocks which they usually track & trade based on this system.
A collective effort can cover most of the nifty50 stocks, so that a trading signal when generated (which is rare) by the system in any of the stocks can be transmitted quickly for the benefit of all members.

Before posting actual charts a brief summary of the concept.
Important: following few posts have been sourced from another trading forum,I am including them as the language used by the author is simple and crisp, makes it easier for a newbie to interpret an otherwise difficultly worded concept by De Mark himself.

TD Flips

TD Flips are identifiers for sudden shift in momentum of markets.

A Bullish TD Price Flip occurs when the market records a close less than the close four bars before, immediately followed by a close greater than the close four bars earlier. So let us assume we have bar X. Now this Bar X closes lower than Close 4 bars ago (X-4) and thus establishes Bearish trend of market. But Next Bar Y (the one after X) immediately closes above close of 4 bars ago. So this changes the mood and sentiment in market.

As a guideline remember the order we follow in the system:

TD Buy/Sell Setup Complete + Check for Perfection + TD Buy/Sell Countdown Complete + Check for qualifiers (Optional) = TD Sequential System

A reference table of the concept

Certain scenarios/conditions/qualifiers:
Example taken is a completed ‘BUY SETUP’
1.after completion of buy setup, countdown starts, but before completion of CD13, a sell setup is completed:
Buy setup and buy CD a stand cancelled.
Latest setup i.e. sell setup stands, that can be followed by sell CD.

2.after completion of buy setup, countdown starts, but before completion of CD13, a new buy setup is completed:
Latest buy setup is to be considered.
CD will have to start all over again

3. The low of CD 13 must be less than or equal to close of CD8 to complete the countdown, till this additional condition is met CD13 is postponed.

4. Buy setup bar 9 will be considered CD 1 if it meets the CD criteria, from where CD count can continue

Mirror for Sell Setup
