2 best books on price action day trading/scalping are by bob volman. if one completely understands and study these 2 books day trading price action becomes profitable and enjoyable.
1) Forex Price Action Scalping: An In-Depth Look into the Field of Professional Scalping. (must and first to study ).
2) Understanding Price Action: Practical Analysis of the 5-Minute Time Frame.

the first book is more than sufficient to be profitable. both the books are costly but worth the investment, particularly first book.

looking at first 3 minute candle in bank nifty many day traders will wait for price to breakout above/below the first 3 minute range. where as there were 2 one in trend short and other counter trend long opportunities.

there are hardly any good trading books written by an Indian in an Indian context even rare on day trading. Ashwini Gujaral's book " How to Make Money in Intraday Trading: A Master Class By One of India’s Most Famous Traders ", is an exception. it has some great nuggets as well as knowledge.

dont look for big swing big picture . focus on wht is happening now and why and how its happening.

if one is able to read price volume relationship bar by bar then trade set ups will pop out of the chart quite easily.
