One more question I have.

For 1 lot nifty, if 25k is margin we are trading with 1 lac capital. 4 times margin money.

But if we do intraday, for 1 lot we need 10k margin. So shall we trade with 40k as trading capital.

for me 40k capital = 1 lot NF intraday. see the below sheet.

Your broker is not giving you enough margin it is four times of normal man!

10k margin needed for 1 lot NF, perhaps u misunderstood the table. there is difference between trading capital and margin needed.

At zerodha, they provide 40% of 25k as margin for intraday. That is, if 1 lot of nifty positional needs 25k, then 40% of 25k is enough for intraday.

Though margin required is much less for intraday, the risk is more here.

Im poistional, if we lose 100 points it is just 5% lost from 1 lac capital.

Whereas if we lose 100 points in intraday, due to continues loosing trades.. it is more than 10% of our 40k capital
