Regular vs Taxable bonds traded on NSE CM

#1
Hello !

What is the difference between a Regular bond and a Taxable bond which are traded on NSE ?

https://www1.nseindia.com/live_market/dynaContent/live_watch/equities_stock_watch.htm?cat=SEC

(Please note that the question is NOT regarding TAX FREE bond .... )

By which criteria, NSE classifies a bond as REGULAR and TAXABLE .. when both types of bonds do attract tax ?

( I could not find this information on NSE site, this forum, or anywhere else on web.

So one who knows, thanks in advance ! :) )

Thanks.

My guess : TAXABLE bonds have sometimes inbuilt TDS in it. Ex: if you interest exceeds more than 20K per year , 10% TDS on it. Regular bonds always give tax free interest and you need to file it during returns !
