Price movement Question

#1
Hi,

I just have a simple question on the share price movement.

What does the text below mean?
The relatively robust numbers failed to please the markets, however, as the shares slid 171/2p to 425.35p. Investors were disappointed by a weaker performance

What does the no 171/2p to 425.35p mean, especially 171/2p

Please help.. thanks.

You made me google for this and I found this in November 2009, wow!! The stock prices have probably adjusted so I can not match the prices. My best guess is that 171/2p is 17 and a half percent where they tried some fancy formatting to show 1/2 or half and it collapsed together. The second p after the 425.35p seems to be the UK pence.
