Price Action perspective using VWAP+SD and TF AMAs

this is 15 min AMA with price not low , i mean see prices its even 60 rs in this option but AFL is plotting wrong AMA

you may be using the old amatf15min

you need to use the new one with usetf = yes TF = 15 and whatever color settings

only 5day vwap or such may work

vwap and SD lines will be difficult as it uses deviation of each bar from the avegarge price (vwap) to get SD and more bars the better

15min and hourly charts you could get approximations

I am facing some prob in order filling. I have seen ur trades where u short +1sd/-1sd failures like setups.
What kind of order do u generally use to catch such quick scalps?

pls help me solve this issue which I always face in my trading.

I put SL-M buy order @547.
Because of 2 reasons-1)it was AMA breakout 2)vPH breakout.

Order got filled at 548..The candle was pure green at that time,but suddenly it made a high and got shrink.
And I had to cover at 545.25

a loss of almost 2.75points =Rs 3575 per lot.

How to handle this situation.Am I doing mistake in order filling?

Such things keep happen in stock futures so instead of using SL-M order,I use limit order or keep running behind the candle..
and I get either extreme high or low and I made a day big red.

Pls friends do reply,ST dada may be busy.Dont look overlook my query.

I generally aim for 1.5rs small and quick scalp.I have to catch this AMA breakout @ 544, how to do that? And how to avoid abv candle shrink prob?

hammers are part of trading ..... one has to scratch the trade in such situations or take smaller TF confirmed BO bar

failure trades were taken on 5min bar in this chart or sometimes I take it on 2 3min bars

all my trades are SL-M

Whats the logic behind it?
I mean,when we are taking trades below and above means what?
Above AMA means uptrend? Below AMA is downtrend?

What the meaning of period=30 and noise=5?

If the price is above AMA and its coming in AMA,does that mean we are expecting sideways now?

AMA is adaptive moving average ..... instead of a fixed period like 13 or 21 for ema it calculates the period dynamically depending on momentum (no noise) ....when high momentum the ema is faster and when high noise (pullback or sideways) the ema moves slower....... this helps in vertical moves to trail or reverse etc

This is just another of the MAs but I found it good and responsive when required and flat when not required compared to MA and EMA so have been using it

Now I'm facing this issue.Not sure whether its a backfill issue or AFL issue.I posted same in Pratap Sir's thread also-
