TP, I don't know your style of trading... but if you are using a timeframe/chart, I would suggest you place the stop distance equal to the longest candle you can see in the last 2/3 days. Adjust the qty according to your Risk%.

all that becomes too huge with futures. EQ requires too much patience.

With the recent increase in margins, the only way is to be profitable in day trading. One perspective shift would be to set intra day returns as the benchmark instead of weekly/daily timeframes as in positionals. I think SEBI would cap leverage at 5-8X for stock and 8-10X for indices.
Also, got to see how this affects commodities markets.
I trade equities only in the long run but do day trading.

September 2018 was going flattish till the last day glitch, which is yet to be resolved. So I will consider 28th Sep combined with 1st October.

MTD it ended at 1607.86 and YTD 2018 is at -27420.29

AVG21 is -425.98, AVG63 is -385.68, AVG250 is -79.88 and AVG500 is -261.35

Hi,
Thanks for sharing the info. It's great to see that from 2014 if I am not wrong you are diligently sharing yr performance.
As per your analysis what are the key reasons of not making money consistently? Is it related to psychology, mm, method or something else. What steps do you think you need to take to be profitable?
If you are comfortable please share your views.
Thanks

October 2018 includes 28th Sept, which saw the accident. Nothing much to report here, except more struggle.

MTD it ended at -7131.23 and YTD 2018 is at -34527.52

AVG21 is -339.58, AVG63 is -355.36, AVG250 is -129.23 and AVG500 is -186.90

After that accident, I hardly had any money left in the account, so had to sort of start over.
