ODIN DIET not working on Window7 ultimate

I have loaded Window7 ultimate 32 bits on my laptop and on my desk top. ODIN did not work so I had to change account settings , program features settings and registry settings. Now ODIN is working on Laptop but not working on Desk Top. On Desk Top I get error "Invalid Parameter(OpenConnection)" . I am using BSNL Broad Band connection. Will some Good Samaritan help me out of this impasse.
