    Hi all,

I have been learning Futures & Options since last 6 months with Minimal Trades (10 - 12) so far. Overall result I'd say was No Profit No Loss.
And they were not based on a single method / strategy. So, I am still struggling to find a good strategy.

Finally, thought to start writing a diary to track where I am heading towards.

In this diary, I would be writing my trades (actual, paper but live) to track.

I seek guidance from Seniors & Experienced traders to help me grow.

This is a paper trade (not live).

I came across a new strategy today. So, this trade would have been based on that only.
Heiken-Ashi Daily TF showed bearish today. So, enter in trade anytime after 3:15 pm.

NIFTY Dec Future SHORT @ 8110 (1 lot)

    Target = 50 to 100 points
SL = 50 points (Risk of 4000 INR)

Or Exit during day anytime, if Hiekin-Ashi starts forming a dogi candle.

I yet to learn techniques for Positional Trading.
    Currently, trading only intra day.
Because positional trading needs higher stop losses and then my emotions come into picture. I did two trades since last post. Both I booked loss before market went to my expected direction.
Specially gap up or gap down was the reason.

If anyone can guide me how should I deal with this or any simple setup, that'll be great.

Else, I'm thinking to go with intra day trades as it will involve small stop losses.

Use your post#2 strategy for positional too...watch the Heiken Ashi EOD candle in the morning, 2nd half and during 30 min (realtime update on EOD) to closing..take trade as per your Entry/Exit rules as per your intraday method...

I don't have any intra day technique so far. I started with Positional only. Now, thinking to start intraday.

Can you suggest some good strategy?

Or even how a new trader should start his journey. From positional or from intraday?
Keeping in mind I have limited - 1 Lac capital. SO, SL will be minimum as per some suggestions from seniors. They said 1% per day. 2% per week. Before I increase my capital further.

You can find a lot of strategies in this forum. Since you have an idea of Heiken Ashi you can trade Intraday using Heiken Ashi setup...follow the same method of your positional trade for Intraday also...
