Open the account with a size-able sum of money (>1 Lakh) and a relationship/wealth manager phones in daily with worthwhile stocks or commodities to purchase as well as phoning in when it's time to sell them off.
Are these long term solutions?
Which brokers or wealth management companies are worthwhile who offer these services???
When I returned to India (after finishing my college studies,) I was offered a similar service by ICICI 4 years ago when I first visited their bank branch. I did not take it seriously since I was not very aware of how successful such services were till I recently found out that family members and their friends are making profits when a relationship/wealth manager calls them for buying and selling certain stocks or commodities.
