I'd have to wait for a situation such as 2001 and 2009 to enter at 50% intrinsic value for the stocks that I have on my watch list. True value investing seems to be partly a waiting game.

2015-16 is coming

I was just thinking about that when I noticed the index drop today. A month ago, I started a technical analysis based investment of fundamentally strong stocks and if a 2001 bottom or 2009 bottom occurred soon, I'm expecting a loss of only 12% from initial capital.

Immediately a market crash may throttle my current income but long term it would be good for my virtual portfolio.

It could still be a May 2006 scenario where the market improved for another year or two.

What could be the reason for the next major dip/value investment opportunity?

Greece/EU situation worsens or the situation in North Africa/Middle East?
