In a day trading, you have more opportunities than the higher timeframe trading. But, it is much more risky than the long-term trading as well that is why it called scalping. You are more reliable on hope and luck while trading at minutes base. Am I right guys?

Short term trading does not necessarily mean scalping. There are workable methods of making money with say 5 minute charts also.
