How to invest in Silver

Hi all,
I want to invest in silver for long term. I want to know what all options are available to invest in silver in Online form.
I dont have any idea of commodity markets but have a good idea of stocks, F&O.
Can i buy silver in electronic form and hold it for 2-3 yrs (without rollover)??

Check out National spot exchange site for holding commodities in demat form.

you can buy silver and keep it in a demat a/c like shares. Right now silver prices have gone thru the roof hence it would be advisable to to wait till the prices correct/ cool down.
