How to install new MT4 indicators

Hai Guys ,
I m new to MT4 . I downloaded demo version from GCI trading .
I m facing one difficulty when i downloaded new custom indicators from internet .
These are downloaded in zip files , when i extract the indicator , it shows open with ............
Now the question is , in which programme it should be open (word pad , note pad or someone else .......)
pls help.

Just extract the file no need to open it. Now open MT4 > Click File>Open data folder > Mql4>Indicators > PASTE THE Downloaded indicator and restart MT4 or refresh the indicators from Navigator.

No need of any external programs. Copy the .ex4 & .mq4 (if available) files to C:\Program Files (x86)\MetaTrader 4\MQL4\indicators folder. Open MT4, open desired chart, from menu select Insert > Indicators > Custom > your indicators (copied above) or from left side Navigator window. Enjoy.
