Hello traderji

when we earn in foreign currency, the foreign exchange branch gives us the cash in local currency. Is this additional Indian rupees printed or released from some stock with RBI?

Sir,

I spoke to Refco in Bangalore regarding this issue, they have not confirmed the legal status of forex trading for Reasident Indians.
CrossCurrency Trader.
Doesn't Refco had a BIG BIG trouble about their services in futures and option trading?.......which including forex services?
Their has been many lawsuits against the company and thier shares took a nose dive.

However I don't know any services outside US their might be some exception with the company in Bangalore. The company might have no problem.

Re: Currency Trading

Useful info about FX. Could someone please explain how an individual in India can start trading in FX market ? Is there anything like authorization from Govt bodies, banks etc required? Any advise on this will be appreciated.

Re: Currency Trading

Hello people!!!

Be very careful in choosing ur fxbroker. Many of them are crooks who eat away ur stops. Some of the bigger crooks are REFCO , FXCM and INTERBANK Fx.
So far , wht i have found is FXDD is the best.Dont ever signup thru introducing brokers.IT'll prove costly as when u sign up with IBs u have to give commissions apart from the spreads.
Like Amarnath posted SAITCAPITAL .Its an IB with NEUIMEX.
Anyone who wants to venture out in fx waters, first must demo trade and get experienced.

With a good broker, FX market is better than stocks and commodities.
But one has to do his homework well.

Moneytec is a specialised fx forum. You'll get other people's trading strategies, ideas and their experiences.Anyone thinking to start out in fx, plz do visit moneytec.

Thanks,

Dear Bimal,

1st select your forex broker then sign up account opening doc and submit other doc as specified on broker's website and from your ICICI bank acct just wire transfer funds to your broker acct :) . Like Durgesh said some IB have markup fees for their additional support / services but not all SAIT CAPITAL dont have any markup fees as higher spreads /comission etc from their parent broker NEUIMEX AG , sait capital just offer basics introductory services like assisting in acct opening and basic idea of fx etc so no additional mark up fee even if open acct via sait reference . Hope it helps :)
