Hi!

To all those, who use their thinking power..... believe me..... this thread is going to be more and more interesting due to the interesting Food that shall get provided for their thoughts in the coming day.

That later..... Currently, here is what I think..... my opinion and I could be wrong :)

I find that the charts are still indicating a downward trend... and I respect the charts.

What then.........? In my opinion, it means that the so called "Bail out package/proposal" is going to be an utter failure to take the markets down considerably.

So. The outcome for the "Bail out package" is likely to be tonight or tomorrow nght. In any case, I expect the markets to be keeping the Spot Nifty below the 3800 level in the next week, as envisaged last weekend.

Lets wait and watch.
Cheers!

Sorry guys!

I have a major problem and seek help from whoever that can provide it.

I am travelling and I am currently in Mumbai.

My Acer Ferrari Laptop has developed a mechanical problem with one of it's 'hinges' and I am worried to open and close the laptop lid, because the hinge may spoil the display.

I am NOT able to use the laptop for the time I would like to use it, so my comments are delayed. Please forgive me.

Can anyone give me details about Acer service station in Mumbai, and any more deails about the same?

I shall be grateful.
Regards,
SS

Cool man.... CoolBoy!

That's help for sure and I shall check tomorrow, today being a holiday for such offices. Thanks a lot!

Turning to my comments about Nifty targets for the week.

We still see the Nifty weekly candles moving down, and so is the 10 weeks EMA Red line, in the attached chart.
Last week, the Nifty appears to have taken support from the 200 weeks EMA Green line. But in order that before the candles come close to the 10 week EMA Red line before crossing it to change the trend, they must get apart properly.
For this, I find the probability of the weekly candle touching/ crossing the lower Yellow coloured Keltner band, that stands currently at 3603.78 but shall move down below 3600 as the market slides down.
This is the reason, I am keeping the target of 3600 for the Nifty for the current week.
Usually, most of the analysts and experts on TV Channels and elsewhere find some event to take place, and THEN attribute the movement of the markets to that event.
I dont. Because I am no expert.
I see the charts showing a trend and therefore conclude about the result of the event that may take place in the near future. I see some surprises likely in the forthcoming elections in US and India. Because once the Nifty goes below 3300, it would recover to 4300 in such a short time, that most people will loose the investment opportunities.
Now why would that happen? Such a rise of almost 1000 points, may be in a weeks time or even lesser..? I do not have any clue about the event that shall make this happen.
In my 6th Sept 08 message, I had mentioned the Nifty to go to 3800 levels. Little did I know about the Lehman-Morgan-AIG etc and there performances.
Readers may find my comments average or even way below average, as per the ratings. I wont blame them. After all, one has ones opinion that one shall form using ones thinking ability.
Incidently, I also found an astonishing probability for Reliance Ind to go down to the level of 1430..? Crazy idea, huh? But that is not going to happen next day or week or..! See the weekly chart attached.
All my opinions, and I could be wrong. Nothing personal to anyone :)

Cheers!

Thanks Czar. It is a great encouragement.

While analysing, I was trying two different paths.

First, taking the lows of 2003-04 to the highs of Jan 2008 and getting the 61.8% thereof.

Second, starting from the top of Jan 2008, to the intermittent low that almost every scrip had, was 100% and went below to 161.8% [almost every scrip, not all though]

Both these figures are more or les tallying. For Nifty, I get 3235 in one and a little below 3300 in another.

So, I made a list of scrips [to be bought as Nifty falls below 3500..... a kind of SIP].... and started comparing these two conditions for each, which lead me to the surprisingly low target for Reliance Ind. Would you care to comment pl?

Cheers!

The rally you mentioned should come but I feel the final bottom should be around Feb 09 approx 3K mark...

Thanks. Experience has taught me that catching a bottom is difficult, and almost 90% or more crib when they try and miss the investment opportunity.

So, I would start investing early..... well before the anticipated bottom.

Now, when would the rally be possible and why? And to what extent....?

2-3 months ago, in a different forum, I had placed it around last week of Oct based on the time analysis for Dow Jones, that was more or less true also for the Indian Indices but with some time delay...few weeks may be.

In my opinion, the jump to near 4300 for Nifty could be very rapid, but there after the markes may go sideways for quite some time.

Jan-Feb have been the months where tops have been seen. This year, the budget will not have any effect on the markets, as it would be from a govt that is.... a kind of caretaker, till the elections are held and over.

I tried to find out the reason. The only one I see at the horizon is the outcome of the US Presidential elections. Is ther a major surprise in stores?

The US markets must get very excited to jump up that could trigger the action for the rest of the world?

Or is there something else that shall make this happen? God almighty knows. I don't.

Cheers!
