1. Ddnt get, what you mean by disclosed quantity.
2. A good number of lots can be bought (sufficient for a retail trader, for exact number you have to search nse/broker website), provided you have sufficient margin money for the trade, as per broker policy.
3. Ha ha. NF and BNF among indices and few among N50 are good.

In Cash segment.. suppose u want to buy 1,000 shares but u don want to show it in order book as ppl will get scared seeing ur large Q.
So in disclosed qty column, u will write as 30.
Then in the order book only 30 shares as bid qty is seen. If order is executed, then it is executed for whole thousand shares..

Instead of saying maximum lot, you can say quantity both are same, lot usually used in theory and quantity in practice. At present for Nifty its 7500 and Bank Nifty its 2500 but at present bank nifty lot size is 40 so the max quantity is 2480 only.

I don't know whether Disclosed quantity applicable in F&O or not.

Hi
rest of the questions were already answered by others.
I would like to answer on your first question.
In F&O segment, there wont be any "disclosed qty" option. It is available only for Cash segment.

Disclosed qty can never be less than 10% of the actual qty.. so for 1000 shares, lowest disclosed qty is 100

F&O stocks should have current value more than 5 lac. suppose any stock is currently trading at around 150 then its F&O lot size is 500000/150=3000 or 3500, as specified by the stock exchange......see here nse stock fut lot size....http://www.niftytrader.in/technical-school/nse-fo-lot-size/

you can place buy or sell order any lot as per your margin money deposited into your broker's a/c......
don't be worry about lot size you want to place for trading.....there are too many big brothers an too many big daddies are trading everyday at stock exchanges with huge lots.......
