With ONE minute TF there are too many Entries/Exits and the range is not
lucrative. More over there is a chance of FALSE start plus booking profits
too early. Similarly too high TF may not give adequate samples to plot. A 20 min
TF with default Bollinger Band (BB20,2) will not give a sample in intraday.
So an optimum TF should be chosen like 3min or 5 min. A time frame of 3min
if Nifty range is below 100 points and 5 min if range is more than 100 points is
a good idea.

Hi Guys,

this is a really useful thread, I am just yet confused as you usually enter the trade when the price is near the middle bollinger band (20 MA) but how do we decide whether to go short or go long at that moment ?

Please any tips will be appreciated.

Thanks :)

Hi asifb,

To address this problem ,I have one more thread BOLLINGERWORM. It is a
a bollinger band within a bollinger band .That means TWO bollinger bands
BB(20,2) and BB(20,1).If at middle , still up movement is there and moves
towards INNER BOLLINGER BAND top ,go LONG.If any band is crossed
TWICE close the position.
