BNP Paribas bought Sharekhan

#1
I just received an email last night that Sharekhan has been acquired by the French company, BNP Paribas. The following site confirms the same:
http://www.vccircle.com/news/finance/2016/09/26/fipb-approves-bnp-paribas-acquisition-sharekhan

Does this transaction imply that there may be changes for the average retail trader/investor who uses Sharekhan and its platform Trade Tiger?

The e-mail I received last night says that there are changes for commodity futures traders.

Sharekhan has aggressively started calling its clients to inform them of the change of ownership and are asking people to fill in some KYC forms again.

When a corporate wants KYC, there is no paper wastage but if you ask them to send documents by mail, clients are advised to not waste paper for sake of environment.
