ASBA? how effective is it?

i applied for the COAL ind thru SBI net banking. for SBI bank accnt holders, it doesn't matter if ur branch is "Self Certified Syndicate Bank", if u have net banking. this also true, if ur bank have core banking service.

its pretty simple, just fill ur demat ID & name correctly.

it doesn't matter if u don't have Demat with the bank.

I have internetbanking enabled with ASBA. But in my PC it never works with Internet Explorer 8. I tried other browsers, it works till the last step,but Transaction Failed message comes. But when I tried from my own Bank net it worked. I tried next in my friends house, it also failed in all browsers except Internet Explorer. But there also the last step not completed, but money blocked from my account. None of the Bank IT staff coudnt tell the correct reason. If anyone experianced the same problem please tell.Also wants to know it will work with CHROME , OPERA etc. I applied for MOIL, using ASBA.. last step failed, but money blocked in my account and all details available.
