JD , does Josh utility provide level-1 data like Truedata/GFDL, or does it provide Level-2 data? If its only Level-1 I already have a truedata subscription.
All Exchange Authorised Data Vendors offers Level1 Data, even RTD Utility.

Re: Advanced Order Flow Analysis and Practicing of Order Flow for better Trade Decisi

I want to start trading Nifty Futures only using GOMI Metro (free version) initially but I have struggled a lot in vain to configure Josh utility for data feed.
So I have thought to use TrueData/GDFL for tick level data.

Is it worth it considering these vendors if we don't get 0.25 seconds (level-2) in terms of tick from it. Does this make OFA unreliable?
Should continue persevering to get Josh Utility to work?
Worth Vendors Data feed for NIFTY,
OFA Part Some minor difference in between RTD and Authorised Data Vendors Data.

I 'm trying to implement the Algo Trading with NinjaTrader on Indian MCX Market,

Broker Platform - Zerodha Kite with API Activated Bridge
Charting Platform - NinjaTrader with Order Routing Bridge

Step 1 : Activation of Kite API from Zerodha (2000/month)
Step 2 : NinjaTrader Configuration based on Indian MCX Crudeoil Script
Step 3 : RT Data feed to NinjaTrader thru Utility Bridge.
Step 4 : Development of Trading Strategies for Algo Execution.

Is anybody tried this Algo Trading thru NinjaTrader by using Kite API, Pls Share ur valuable experience here, for better understanding of this concept.

Hi,
Grateful if anyone can help me with this. I need to know which datafeed, softwares etc are needed if one needs to engage in Order flow trading along with footprint charts. Read somewhere that MarketDelta is not available for Indian markets.
Thanks

Hi Hungry Joe,

Datafeed - Authorised Data Vendors, Like GFDL and TrueData
Software - NT7 or NT8
Orderflow Tool Add on for NT7 - As per ur Choice, Most Prefer one Gomi Free Version
Orderflow Tool Add on for NT8 - Gomi's Paid Version and edevaay's Volume Ladder..etc

Hi,

Do GFDL or Truedata provide actual tick by tick data?
When you say Gomi or edevayy, I see they provide something akin to footprint charts. I am looking for footprint plus something that is given by Jigsaw trading i.e., Market depth plus volume profile, plus inside prints, i.e., every single addition to every single bid/ask (DOM based trading). Have gone through various courses, tutorials and now looks as if the tools are not there for Indian markets.

Leads me to another question, i.e., can one trade overseas futures markets from India?

Thanks for replying.

Hi Hungry Joe,

Do GFDL or Truedata provide actual tick by tick data?
Not tick data, May be Snap Shot Data.

yes, Both are offering some enhanced footprint charts.
Jigsaw Tools works on Level2 Data only, But Indian Market Data Vendors offers Level1 Data.

can one trade overseas futures markets from India?
As a Non US Clients, Its Very tough to trade on US Market, But there's Some Options thru Prop Trading firm (But its Cost involved Process, to prove ur trading Skills)
