dear all ,
if any body using amibroker + odin for mcx commodity , we have good news for backfilling , all u need is amibroker + odin platform + datafetchers FFO uttility...first start odin then ami broker , them ffo.....data will start cominginto ami......let me explain step by step....in ami create new database [ file>new database>data source>local database>no of bars >1000>basetime interval [TICK]>....then go to intraday settings...filtering> tick on 24 hrs trading> trading hours> time start 10.00 end 23.55>daily time compresson>exchange time> pre database settings>time shift >0 & allow mixed EOD\intraday data .......settings completed......now start FFO...DATA WILL COME IN AS PER ODIN CODE NO. e.g u will see code 201724 for gold ..cick symbol>onformation u will see in symbol field 201724 .in alias >name it GOLD............ FOR BACK FILLING,,,,GO TO IMPORT WIZARD...PICK FILES...select path where u have saved backup files > next in define fields col 1=MDY ,col 2 = TIME ,col 3= VOLUME , col 4 = CLOSE .. colum 5 ,6,7 >skip...seperator >SPACE ...& TICK ON IN (1) log errors (2)automatically add new symbols ,(3) no quotation data ......next tick on > add current settings to ascll importer defination>in description > 123 formatt>formatt file name>123.formatt......U WILL GET BACK FILL DATA from your desired time sau need data from 10 till 12.30 [same day only]...FOR FURTHER DETAILS CONTACT = data4mcx@*****.co.in [mr shyam].. mob no =Idea .9824835544----Ril. 9328114677.. as i am getting back fill from him...[.find todays data from 10 am to 11.30 am.]..........oops message too long...lets hope this will help everyone from paying huge subcrioption charges to mcx live dataproviders..... FFO is a paid software. is it possible with cem pib to ab?

hi casoni, i did not mean that.
i just speculated that cem PIB to AB can take data from odin as it is taking frm pib. c/odin/ data c/pib/<client code>/ data thank you, Rajib. |

hello dear , no Cem caNt do that...it will fetch only from pib...not odin.....AS default path is pib[ in cem] if u can chage that path...then it may work. i dont know if this is possible or not....

casoni, in the cem software, the destination comes by default, not the source.
