hi,
do as directed. for gold- GOLDM+04NOV2006 GOLDM+05DEC2006 GOLDM+05JAN2007 GOLD+05DEC2006 GOLD+05FEB2007 FOR OIL,- CRUDEOIL+15NOV2006 CRUDEOIL+15DEC2006 CRUDEOIL+15JAN2006 NOTE: 1. add them in add-symbol box separately. 2. dont use any gapp or comma . 3. tick the data source as mcx-india(real-time). 4. if u have alredy downloaded the software, then ok. if not, upgrade to new beta version of the software(FOR FREE). 5.in the preferencetab, change the time format as 9-30AM-11-30PM. 6. if u want reltime chart, then properly adjust the chart menu. it is good one and BETA quality chart but u have to get data for that , no backfill. ask if further assistance needed. thank you. Rajib. |

I must commend yours and other members' selfless efforts for the benefit of entire group. I am pretty new to chart softwares and Traderji. Here are a few queries: (1) Could you confirm the setup details you mentioned are for Quote tracker or Fchart software. (2) Which of the above softwares you found it better for intraday and EOD. (3) Does any free software has stock (or commodity) screener and trade testing features. (4) Any other TA softwares or website that support MCX or NCDEX intraday and EOD. Thanks. |

hi,
u are welcome. for ur all queries,-- 1. the set-up was for QT. 2. i have not tried yet to bring data to F CHART, BUT I SUPPOSE IT IS POSSIBLE. QT itself provides good quality BETA charting 3. there are too many softwares for stock charting, amibroker, fibotrader, fchart....to name a few. For my personal use , i use blogtrader in eod, it is based on pure java, and jre1.5 reqired for that.it takes data automatically after opening. it also has intraday live -watch , data-taking from *****. but some of our forum members has some problems in installing the software. for mcx-ncdex any dedicated system is yet to develop. u can use qt, but it has limitation as it does not support backfill in india commodities and guggles too much of data(Megabyte). u can ask me if any further assistance reqd. Thank you. Rajib. |
