We are not regulated to that extent, our commodity futures market does not activity like that is in the US. Only few markets like Gold, Silver, Copper, Crude and recently Nickel has good volume. Rest are not so very good, price discovery is very poor.
Many a times Government intervention abruptly stops trading. We are facing such problems in many agri commodities. Wheat and Sugar are prone to these problems. Some of the products have been stopped for ever, this affects trader sentiments. Hence, large traders do not concentrate here like in the US markets.
