Presently i am using RKglobal for trading but they are leving all charges and mentioning as Othercharges.
Can anybody tell me all the charges and taxes in commodity trading.
For example if i buy a lot of copper for 240 and sell it for 241, i will get 1000 as profit and what are the all other charges

Mr. Rao, I've been actively trading with Rkglobal for the past few days and yes, they do levy 'other charges' (0.006% of total turnover). Other brokerage firms too levy such charges. Take a closer look into the sheets and you will come to know. However, with RK's ultra low brokerage (Rs. 9 + Rs. 9.27 ST), total charges that a trader has to pay for buying and selling one lot of copper is just Rs.50/- (including the 'other charges' in question). That equates to just 0.05 pts of copper price. Hope this helps :thumb:

There is also stamp duty applicable. It is around 0.002% and no Service tax on it.
